As If Being Late Wasn't Stupid Enough: The Worst Tardiness Related Excuses Ever

About 99.8% of the current workforce has been late at least once in his or her life. And chance are a huge chunk of that is late fairly often in a month. And whether you are a boss or the aforementioned late employee you have probably heard your fair excuse of lame excuses for being late. Sometimes it even gets exciting to interview late employees to discover what new excuses they have cooked up in an effort to sound believable.

So  maybe you're one of those angels of the workplace who has never been late and has never heard (or cooked up) a pretty good excuse in your life for being so. If that is the case, here are a few of the worst excuses ever developed in relation to tardiness:

l    You Forgot To Set Your Alarm: Some people are so hesitant to take the blame for anything that they do, that they start blaming it on devices. OK, so let's say your body clock is ill equipped to handle the stresses of waking up early every day, and you had a bad night prior to this morning. This will probably save you from a long lecture the first time you do it. Your next offense will most likely get you in trouble.
l    You Had No Clean Pants To Wear: This is sort of more valid than the fist excuse for the simple fact that when you have nothing to wear, it's really quite impossible to get to work in any capacity. This however is another sign of incompetence which your boss may forgive but definitely won't like.
l    McDonalds Ran Out Of Burgers: Your craving for McDonalds or any other fast food chain product can definitely get you in trouble if you're not careful. This is one of the worst and least creative excuses that you can give, even for the most dim witted of bosses. So avoid, avoid, avoid!

It actually gets a lot funnier than this. If you want a comprehensive list of the lamest excuses that people give wen they're late, just visit: http://crunkish.com/top-ten-worst-reasons-for-being-late-to-work/.
